Windows Login

Features

Secure and
convenient login

Login: Authentication is performed by logging in with an existing Windows password and issuing an authentication token to access the work programme. It also supports a variety of authentication methods, including smartphone login, NFC, OTP, timer, and OneTime Login.
Password: It automatically changes to a random password upon initial enrolment and allows for periodic password changes or extensions. It also detects password change prompts from the AD environment and changes the password automatically.
User experience: It supports the simultaneous use of two accounts and can be utilised in local mode in non-networked environments. It also provides remote desktop and virtual machine (VM) login capabilities.
Management Console: It offers password resets and login restrictions, allows you to set account expiry dates for each user, and helps you manage login history and devices efficiently.
Support for multiple integrations: It works with your current OTP and can be used in conjunction with your single sign-on (SSO) system.

Windows Authentication integration
- When you sign in using your current Windows password, WinLogin Client saves
  your authentication token and uses it to sign in to your work programme on its own.

Register your Windows login details
- Enter and confirm the ID and password required to sign in to Windows, then use your
  smartphone or NFC card to register the credentials and device information required to
  sign in to Windows.

Sign in to the smartphone app
- When the smartphone app sends authentication information to the server via FIDO
  authentication, the authentication server verifies the user account and the IP of the PC,
  and the client installed on the PC retrieves it and processes Windows login with the PC
  account.

Smartphone HCE login
- Sign in to Windows by saving your Windows Sign-in credentials to your
  smartphone's NFC (near field communication) (Note: Only available for Android
  phones released in 2015 or later)

NFC card login
- When an NFC card is tagged to a reader, the card is validated and Windows login is
  processed, or in the case of an NFC-enabled employee card, it is validated in
  conjunction with the employee card DB.

OTP login
- If you have an OTP device, you can enter your OTP number on the Windows Sign in
  screen to sign in to Windows
- Sign in to Windows using Google OTP on your smartphone

Timer login
- If you're going on holiday, business trip, or need to temporarily pass on PC privileges,
  you can set a PC usage time to automatically lock the PC after a set period of time.

Password recovery and automatic
change/extension
- When registering WinLogin, you can change the Windows password to a random
  string to recover the password from the user, and automatically change/extend it
  whenever the change cycle arrives.
